Valentine's Day 2003

We are proud to announce a new collection of poems from Peter Everwine, Speaking of Accidents. This is the first collection in some time from one of the most important poets and teachers of poetry in America today. The book (~6.5" x 12") is printed in an edition of 200 copies from handset Bembo types on dampened Somerset, an English mouldmade paper. It is bound by Julie Leonard of Iowa City in cloth over boards, and signed by the author and artist. Gary Young, poet, printmaker and book artist from Santa Cruz, executed seven original woodcuts for the book. As with each edition, 10 copies are reserved unbound by the press. 15 of the 200 copies are printed on UICB hand made paper and will be bound separately in special bindings for a summer 2003 release.
